Measuring A Suit
Jacket
To measure the chest and waist of your suit jacket:
1) Close the top button (or middle button on a 3 button jacket)
2) Lay out the jacket completely flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering. Spread the arms out as illustrated
3) The chest measurement is taken between the widest point under each armpit. Gently pull the fabric flat before measuring
4) The waist measurement is taken across the top button (or middle button on a 3 button jacket), from side to side. Again, gently pull fabric flat before measuring.

3) The rise is measured from the back waistband down to the lowest point of the crotch. Gently pull fabric at crotch before measuring
4) For inside leg, hem and knee measurements, fold trousers along the crease and lay flat. Lift leg out of the way as illustrated
5) The inside leg is measured from the point where the leg seam meets crotch seam, down to the hem.
