Measuring Chest & Waist
To measure the chest and waist of your top:
1) Lay out the top completely flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering. Spread the arms out as illustrated
2) The chest measurement is taken between the widest point under each armpit. Gently pull the fabric flat before measuring
3) The waist measurement is taken approximately 12 inches down from the armpit seam. Measure from side to side. Again, gently pull fabric flat before measuring.
Measuring chest & waist

Measuring shoulders, sleeve & length
1) Lay out the top completely flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering
3) The shoulder width measurement is taken between the two points where the shoulder seam meets the arm seam
4) The sleeve length is measured from the top of the arm at the shoulder seam to the cuff
5) Top's length is measured from the top of the collar down to the hem.
Measuring shoulders, sleeve & length
1) Lay out the top completely flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering
3) The shoulder width measurement is taken between the two points where the shoulder seam meets the arm seam
4) The sleeve length is measured from the top of the arm at the shoulder seam to the cuff
5) Top's length is measured from the top of the collar down to the hem.
Raglan sleeve
A raglan sleeve has no seam between the shoulder and the arm. The material extends all the way up to the neck seam in one piece. To measure the sleeve length for this type of top:
1) Lay out the top flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering.
2) Spread the arm out to the side into a natural position as illustrated.
3) Measure from the end of the sleeve cuff up the the point where the fabric meets the neck seam.
Raglan sleeve
A raglan sleeve has no seam between the shoulder and the arm. The material extends all the way up to the neck seam in one piece. To measure the sleeve length for this type of top:
1) Lay out the top flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering.
2) Spread the arm out to the side into a natural position as illustrated.
Sleveless jumper
1) Lay out the top completely flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering.
2) The chest measurement is taken between the widest point under each armpit. Gently pull the fabric flat before measuring
3) The waist measurement is taken approximately 12 inches down from the armpit seam. Measure from side to side. Again, gently pull fabric flat before measuring.
4) The shoulder width measurement is taken between the two points where the shoulder seams end
5) Top's length is measured from the top of the collar down to the hem.
Sleeveless jumper
1) Lay out the top completely flat on an even surface so there is no material gathering.
2) The chest measurement is taken between the widest point under each armpit. Gently pull the fabric flat before measuring
3) The waist measurement is taken approximately 12 inches down from the armpit seam. Measure from side to side. Again, gently pull fabric flat before measuring.
4) The shoulder width measurement is taken between the two points where the shoulder seams end
5) Top's length is measured from the top of the collar down to the hem.
